Running Challenge

The Great Russian Race is a relay run from Vladivostok to Saint Petersburg which will take place in 2005, starting in Vladivostok on 28 May and ending in St. Peterburg on 8 September...“Able bodies wanted for epic challenge. No wages, tough conditions, long hours of running. Honour and pride in taking part and succeeding.” These words are an adaption of Ernest Shakleton’s famous advertisement for his South Pole attempt of 1913. The Great Russian Race is looking for men and women of similar temperament, to tackle a run never before attempted. Check it out at The Great Russian Race.
