Journey Runners There have been and currently are people who have decided to set themselves ultimate challenges as far as long distance running goes. Some have undertaken to run across the USA and other continents and yet others who are running round the world. These pages will provide a little more information on the current runners GOING TO Martin Illot is planning on running from Huntington Beach to New York starting March 31st 2007. BruceJohnson havin run East to West is planning a return journey. DOING IT Rosie Swalepope 57 yearold Welsh lady running around the world unaided. The Goliath Expedition Karl Bushby's Record breaking attempt to walk around the world with unbroken footsteps. It will take over TEN years to complete and will cover over 36,000 Miles across four continents, 25 countries, crossing a frozen sea, six deserts, seven mountain ranges in one non-stop journey. Marathon365 Richard Bottram is running a marathon distance everyday for a year. 365 marathons in aid of Cancer research and direct support. Richard began his odyssey on July 30th 2006. Where's Dean Dean Karnazes, having just completed 50 marathons in 50 days in 50 days finishing at the NYC marathon, is running back to San Francisco. DONE IT !!
